Concerns related to the impact of fossil fuels on climate change, population health and the environment have resulted in a momentous shift in the global automotive strategy. Electrification of automobiles is a key strategy in reducing transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions as well as fossil fuel consumption. Please join Dr. Saeid Habibi, Senior NSERC Industrial Research Chair and Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at McMaster, as he shares with you some of the technology vehicle research currently being conducted at the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC).
